This brief is designed to serve as a practical guide to an integrated public education system. It offers a “basic orientation” to P-16 education, beginning with an overview of the varying definitions of P-16 and concluding with specific policy questions for legislators to consider. It also includes a glossary of terms, a list of selected readings and links to a variety of resources and materials on P-16.
