A Dornier 228 jet operated by Alliance Air has landed at Tezu airstrip in Lohit region of Arunachal Pradesh, marking the start of commercial operations, officials said. According to them, the 17-seater Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) plane took around 20 minutes to reach Tezu from Dibrugarh in Assam. The ticket will cost you Rs 1,600.
“We express our deep appreciation to the government for putting Tezu on the country’s aviation map, which will greatly benefit the people during medical emergencies, in addition to promoting tourism,” said Ojimso Tayeng, who, with his wife, were the only passengers. on the maiden flight.

Flight service would be available three days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
