OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY: The Trumbull County Council of Mental Health and Recovery and the Substance Abuse Prevention Alliance will be handing out free Narcan Overdose Kits today, which is overdose awareness.

Drive-thru and pick-up locations are 2-5 p.m., Compass Family and Community Services, 320 High St., Warren; 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Glenbeigh Outpatient Center of Niles, 29 North Road, Niles; 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Kent State University at Trumbull Technology Building, 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren; 12-3 p.m., Mercy Health Minor Emergency Services, 1296 Tod Ave. NW, Warren; 8 p.m., Sahara Club II, 2345 Youngstown Road, SE, Warren, at the candlelight vigil.

Kits will be available inside buildings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Trumbull County Combined Health District, 176 Chestnut Ave. NE, Warren; and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the County Board of Mental Health and Recovery, 4076 Youngstown Road, Suite 201, Warren.

CHURCH SALE: Southington Christian Church, 3285 State Route 534 in Southington is holding a sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and again on Labor Day. There will be holiday items as well as a variety of garage sale items.

Proceeds will go to local charities and support non-profit Operation Christmas Child.

YOGA RESUMES: Yoga for All will resume in September at Grace United Methodist Church, 1725 Drexel NW, Warren. Soft yoga (chair or mat) will be at 5:45 p.m. on Thursdays. The time of the adaptive yoga session will be determined soon. Call the church, 330-395-5231, for more information.

The cost of the sessions is any donation up to $5. Sanitized equipment is provided or participants can bring their own.
