TESTD Wins Premier Medical Testing Software Agreement

“We are extremely proud to have secured this group purchasing agreement with Premier,” said Nicolas andrews, CEO of TESTD, “and we hope this encourages their members to take a look at our fully digital and easy-to-use solution.”

ISO certifications

Andrews noted that customers can take comfort in knowing that TESTD has received ISO 9001: 2015, ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 and ISO / IEC 27701: 2019 certifications for quality control, reliability and confidentiality. The platform is also fully HIPAA compliant.

“We all want to beat this disease, and testing is a neglected weapon in stopping the spread,” Andrews said. “At TESTD, we’ve helped municipalities, as well as healthcare and hospitality businesses, manage the health of over 250,000 people. We know it has saved lives while helping our clients save time and money managing their needs.

Premier is a leading healthcare improvement company, bringing together an alliance of more than 4,100 US hospitals and 200,000 other providers to transform healthcare. With integrated data and analytics, collaborations, supply chain solutions, and consulting and other services, Premier enables better care and better outcomes at lower cost.

How TESTD works

TESTD was launched during the COVID-19 lockdown as a software solution for businesses requiring testing for the virus. As the pandemic evolved, so did TESTD. It now focuses on infectious disease surveillance, with the ability to manage tests for a variety of pathogens, as well as manage patient data for clinical trials and other medical needs.

It uses blockchain and other technologies to encrypt data, which is in stark contrast to systems deployed elsewhere in the world where health information is transmitted to a central authority and security has been debated.

The platform allows secure and rapid self-programming; the ability of managers to define and revise test protocols; management of tests through the resulting laboratory process; and report to individuals, managers and suppliers.

A person schedules a test themselves from a mobile device, entering information into TESTD’s encrypted platform to secure and protect that person’s data and test result. The TESTD dashboard gives the manager a complete view of the workforce and patient population, makes it easy to review protocols and test appointments, and gives that person the ability to issue real-time reports. A tablet interface gives an operator at a test site the ability to register someone for testing and retain custody of the data, while limiting that operator’s access to protected health information.

An easy-to-use platform offers many benefits, Andrews said, especially as businesses face the new reality of testing hundreds and thousands of individuals.

“Large companies, hospitals and other vendors can be confused and frustrated with this new demand for testing,” Andrews said. “Because we automate a lot of the work, on an easy-to-learn platform, we can actually help you organize the effort and save money in the long run. “
