Lia cook innovates since the beginning of his artistic career. In 1973, after her graduate studies, she received an invitation to the prestigious International Tapestry Biennial in Lausanne in Switzerland where she exhibited alongside fiber art pioneers Magdalena Abakanowicz and Sheila Hicks.
