WANAQUE, NJ, September 27, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – The Hetherington Group and the Healthcare Distribution Alliance will recognize more than 75 industry leaders and public agencies who collaborated during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. “I cannot be more grateful for the efforts of Cynthia, her team and those she contacted, to help with this very important and very critical effort,” said HDA’s Chuck Forsaith. “The incredibly generous offers given to help the industry better protect the integrity of the COVID vaccine supply chain are truly remarkable. While I always knew my good friend was “connected,” what I didn’t fully understand was how vast those connections were – and how much goodwill they could generate. ”

Operation Vax has relied on security experts, open source intelligence collectors, and field surveillance to identify and help thwart people and entities seeking to disrupt, destroy or steal vaccines. During bi-monthly meetings, Operation Vax members shared vital information that allowed security experts to monitor groups and individuals of interest, conduct location-specific event searches, and to track risks on open and deep web sources. Global cybersecurity providers Echosec Systems, Ltd, iThreat, and DarkOwl have donated their services and platforms to the collaborative effort.
