NEW YORK, November 16, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Yesterday, a broad transatlantic coalition of 41 associations – representing companies of all sizes from various business sectors – called on EU policymakers to quickly conclude the process of adequacy decision. EU so businesses can rely on the new EU-US data privacy framework with confidence. In a statement to EU and US officials, the associations offered an analysis of the recent US Executive Order and accompanying US Department of Justice regulations implementing US commitments in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework Framework to help inform and support the EU’s work to operationalize the EU-US Data Privacy Framework through the EU’s adequacy decision process.
