Cybersecurity and automation software provider HelpSystems has launched a new global partner program, tapping into the channel ecosystem with five distinct pathways.

The new program – which comes to replace the previous one due to scale constraints – has separate streams, each with its targeted benefits.

These include Referral Partners, Value Added Resellers (VARs), Distributors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs)/Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and Strategic Alliances/Equipment Manufacturers. origin (OEM).

According to the vendor’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) vice president of sales, David Land, HelpSystems is seeing “significant growth” in the APAC region, saying the vendor’s regional channel managers are already working with cybersecurity partners. .

“The new program will provide comprehensive resources and support to partners, enabling them to expand their role as trusted advisors and work closely with customers who are strengthening their security,” he said.

The referral program offers partners commissions for referring customers to HelpSystems. Meanwhile, the VAR program has three levels – authorized, gold and diamond – and provides online sales and marketing certifications, discounted licenses and marketing benefits at all levels.

At the Gold level, partners get a dedicated partner manager and more marketing benefits. For the Diamond level, advanced sales and marketing support is offered.

The distribution program largely provides these partners with advanced technical assistance, global sales support, and advanced marketing support.

Like the Gold level of the VAR program, MSPs/MSSPs receive a dedicated partner manager and online sales certifications. However, they also benefit from tiered pricing for certain products, technical certifications and free licenses.

This stream offers two packages, the Starter Package, which contains standard business and marketing benefits with no initial annual revenue commitment, while the Growth or “Advanced” package contains advanced marketing support with an initial revenue commitment.

The Strategic Alliance/OEM program sees partners place HelpSystems’ software in their customer or partner offerings, the benefits of which vary on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, HelpSystems has promoted US-based Renee Ritter to the role of Channel Vice President to Support and Accelerate the Global Program, who is to work with regional teams to ensure the program is aligned with its global goals.
